San Francisco!

One of my goals this summer was to go to San Francisco. I have to admit I had never been. I know, it's hard to believe that in the whole 18 years I have lived in California, I had never gone to San Francisco to just go and sight see. I decided that before I started college, I was going to go no matter what. Sooo, on Monday, my sister Alicia and I set out on the road to the city! I let my sister drive...I had no idea of how to get around, so if we got lost, it would be her fault, not mine...ha ha ha.

The art on the side of buildings was amazing...

After parking at the Hilton Hotel, we decided to do a little shopping first. The Westfield Mall in San Francisco was at least 5 stories tall. I think we could have easily spent 2 days there!

After some shopping, it was time to go to Pier 39. We decided to take the trolly. It was my first time. :)

For lunch we had Clam Chowder bread bowls...yum!

After lunch, we bought tickets for the Red & White Fleet. I had never heard of it before, but it was so cool, and it was only $22, wow. The boat took us all throught the San Francisco Bay, under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, and down the Piers.

The view of the city was great.

The hot fudge sundae was really good!

We had our first taxi ride...it wasn't that bad...

China Town

China Town was interesting to see...but it was really dirty... Overall, I had a great time. I am glad that I went, and that my sister Alicia was able to go with me! :)

Sons of Liberty Encampment

This past weekend I was able to attend the Sons of Liberty Encampment! It actually lasted for 4 days, but I was only able to attend it for 2 days. I had to get 2 shifts covered from work...but it was so worth it! On Friday night, Elder L. Tom Perry was there and spoke to us. He was even in his scout uniform...he gave a great talk. Then we were able to see a 14 year old polynesian fire dancer. It was amazing! I think I saw the most amazing, clear, and bright shooting star I have ever seen. I saw about 5 shooting stars in about an hour. On Saturday, John Bytheway spoke to all of us, which was about 5,000 people. I was really excited to see John Bytheway speak. He is such a great speaker. I hope that I will be able to see more of him in the future. Overall, it was a very spiritual and uplifting event.

Fun at work

Old Navy

Marissa & me...I am going to miss her so much. She was my favorite co-worker. She made me laugh all the time, and we just connected and felt the same way about things...especially about work. We will keep in touch I hope. :)

Kera...ha ha ha

April & Megan

I thought that I better get a couple pictures of co-workers from Old Navy. I am not as sad about leaving Old Navy as I am about leaving Hco. It has been a great job, and I probably returnfor the holiday season like Hco, but it has gotten old if you know what I mean!

Fun at work

Hollister Co.
Heidy & me...I'm going to miss her and her spunky personality

Ashlee & Stina

Ha ha ha I laugh every time I see Antonia's toes...can you guess which ones they are?

Oh baby...

lol

I decided that since this was my last week at Hollister co., that I would take my camera to work and take some pictures. I let the girls in the back room have my camera and this is what they came up with. I am going to miss them :( I think that working at Hco has been one of the most fun jobs I have ever had. I am glad that I will be able to come back during the holiday season :) I am going to miss the discount too ha ha ha.

New computer!

Okay so after weeks of debating back and forth about my laptop...dell finally agreed to send me a brand new replacement! :)

Horrible Tuesday

Oh my gosh...I almost don't know what to say. Today has just been horrible! Here is what has happened:
FIRST: I got my new Dell Laptop fixed a few days ago. After the guy left, I tried to install my printer and it iTunes, etc. The CD/DVD drive didn't even work, and wouldn't do anything when I put in a CD/DVD. The guy that worked on it screwed it up! So then I had to call Dell and tell them everything all over again...they then told me that I would have to unscrew the bottom and put it back in, and that it would fix it. Well, it fixed it, but I didn't have the right screwdriver, so they are in the process of sending me one.
SECOND: Before Dell replaced my hard-drive and motherboard, I backed up my iTunes with 3 backup discs. After I got my computer fixed, I put in the backup discs to restore all my music. Unfortunately, one of the cds didn't work, so I lost around 150 songs! I don't even know what I am going to do...ugh!!!
THIRD: I had rented a movie from Blockbuster a few weeks ago, and then returned it...but I returned it to the wrong one! So tonight, I was looking at my bank account, and it shows that I was charged over $21.00 for a movie that I returned. I called Blockbuster, and they said that even though I returned it to the wrong one, they would notice and within one day and give it back to the right Blockbuster store. So I called the other Blockbuster and they were so RUDE! I am so upset with them. I hope that they give me my money back.
Anyway, this day has just been a challenging day. It has been one thing after another. I hope that everything will work itself out, and that the people I have to deal with will do all that they can do to help me. Ugh...do any of ever have days like this???

Super Sunday!

I have decided to call today super Sunday! For me, it was great, because I recieved the Melchizedek Prieshood today, as was ordained to the office of an Elder.

It was nice that Seth was there for the ordination.

The next thing we were able to attend was Dallin's baptism...I was even able to participate in Dallin's confirmation. :)

The day was perfect! It was so packed with spiritual experiences that it just made the day. Fast & testimony meeting was long, but I was able to bear my testimony, so that was nice since it might be the last one before I leave for college. To top it off, it was Alicia & Jame's 14th year anniversary! Anyway, it was a good day that I will remember forever.
